Certificate and licence

The activities of Major Cargo Service are confirmed by state licenses of the Russian Federation:

Certificate of conformity of quality management system in the field of freight transportation to services on organization of transportation by air, road, rail, river and sea transport, customs clearance, freight forwarding activities and safekeeping of goods to requirements of GOST R ISO 9001-2008 (ISO 9001-2008).

Major Cargo Service was included in the register of customs brokers in January 2004. This allows it to be a client’s guarantor, representing its interests in relations with customs authorities. In connection with introduction of a new customs union and changing of rules in December 2010, we received an updated certificate on inclusion in the register of customs representatives.

Since 2005, we are a member of the Association of Freight Forwarders of the Russian Federation.

Since March 2006, we have a certificate of inclusion in the National Customs Brokers Association

 On 5 February 2007, Major Cargo Service was admitted to the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations FIATA. Henceforth, in the conduct of international freights, Major has the right to issue FIATA official documents. For example, FIATA FCR - Forwarders Certificate of Receipt (forwarding agent’s receipt) - an internationally recognized document that indicates that the freight forwarder took cargo for shipment or storage.

On February 1, 2007, Our Company became a member of the International Air Transport Association IATA. The main objective of IATA is to coordinate and protect the interests of international carriers, as well as development and implementation of regulations in the field of air transport on a global level, including issues on airlines’ ground servicing and flights safety
